Where we work

Southern Africa
In South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, we help bring direct aid to wildlife affected by drought, poaching, habitat loss, natural disasters and other environmental challenges. We support anti-poaching units, funding advanced anti-poaching technology, drilling boreholes, funding well points and eco-friendly energy solutions.

Asia
In Thailand and Laos, we support partners who work to rescue wild animals from prolific poaching rings, abusive situations and cruel captivity. From critically endangered pangolins and leopards to monkeys, bears, big cats and others, we help provide funding for urgent relocations, veterinary treatment, anti-poaching devices and species-specific nutrition.

Europe
In Europe, we help provide emergency relief during wildfires and other natural disasters in countries like Greece, when fire brings devastation to habitats and species during hot, dry summers. We also work in Montenegro, where we fight for better conditions for captive caged wild animals.

Warzones
We are on the ground when animals need us most, and often when few other organizations are. In Ukraine, we are working to help rescue, treat and relocate big cats and other animals abandoned on the frontlines as their caregivers flee. We will try to help wildlife during times of conflict and war.

Disasters
When natural disasters strike, animals are often the forgotten and voiceless victims. We provide critical aid to wild animals affected by fires, floods, earthquakes and other disasters which destroy their habitats and leave them injured, orphaned or displaced.

Worldwide
We provide ad-hoc support to wildlife in crisis when the need arises. At Animal Survival International, we believe the future of our planet depends on the survival of each and every species, and in the case of critically endangered animals, every life counts in the fight against extinction.
